Description
'Mirrors' was finished in 1991, the year that Mr. Robert Currey had a concert in Tehran at the Australian Embassy, where composer met the performer and dedicated the piece to him. This is a Suite for Piano and consists of three movements. 'Transparent', 'Opaque' and 'Miniature' are the titles given to the movements. Mirrors was never performed by Mr. Currey, but its first performance took place in Tehran the year after the piece was finished, by the composer's son Mr. Neysun Rouhani. Also Mr. Safa Shahidi recorded it and released it, first on a cassette tape and then on a CD.
